Stripe must verify your identity to comply with financial regulations.

This May Include

• Your date of birth
• Government ID number (SSN or EIN in the U.S.)
• Uploading a government ID
• Confirming your home address

Stripe may also request a selfie verification in some cases.

This is a normal part of payment platform compliance.
